Basic back story was we moved to Lakewood without schools (yes I know, you don’t have to tell me) and my kids were home for a while. Eventually we enrolled them into Melamed Academy so they wouldn’t be left back. I imagine they’ll stay there for the upcoming year, because no one is answering my calls right now. Here’s my question though, if I start at the beginning of the year like everyone else does, will I be able to (maybe) get my kids into school for the next year? Is there a secret to this?
I posted first in the Lakewood Inquiries. I was told I may have better advice here.

It really depends what schools you are trying to get into and if they can squeeze another student into the class.
Also it’s definitely easier if you have a connection or ‘pull’ into the school.
