Hey does anyone have any non typical gifilta fish recipes that aren’t sweet? What else could I do with gifilta fish?

You can pour spicy tomato sauce over it and bake it or roll it in oil then bread crumbs and bake it. Or try making tricolor gefilte fish.

Saute onions. Smear Dijon mustard over fish (taken out of paper). Place in tray. Cover with onions. Bake. Don't remember if you cover or not.

Pour salsa over top generously, cover, bake 90 minutes.
Or, smear all over top with Mayo mixed with spices, then cover with bread crumbs or corn flake crumbs, optional crispy fried onions. Bake 90 minutes.

Put onion on the bottom the the plan, place the fish on top. Sprinkle with a TINY amount of sugar (1/2 tsp?) and lemon pepper seasoning, or similar. Add 1/2 of water or so. Bake. The outside will brown.
I second the salsa idea.
Good Shabbos!

The recipe with mayo and breadcrumbs sounds delicious. I want to make this tomorrow. What temperature do you bake it at? Thanks
