Does anyone know if the $600 PUA is included in income eligibility when applying for jersey care?
ETA - changing the question a bit - is it included for any of the govt assistance programs like WIC and SNAP?

$600 is not included in Medicaid assessment but other unemployment is.
Every state is different in regards to food stamps, but most do that same guideline.

600 Unemployment Benefit
From the LRRC Government Help FAQ:
27. Will my unemployment benefits be counted towards eligibility for government programs?
Regular Unemployment Insurance benefits received (60% of wages) will be counted towards eligibility for NJFamilyCare, SNAP, The Marketplace, and Section 8.
The extra $600 weekly payment will not be counted towards eligibility for NJFamilyCare or Section 8. It will be counted by SNAP, and The Marketplace (for purposes of tax credits and cost-sharing). All Unemployment benefits are taxable. As always, this payment and any other income changes must be reported to processing agencies.

I just spoke to a relative who said he already got a letter from Snap that his benefits were adjusted because he is now making more money from unemployment.
