So we bh just moved into our house. And the only part we didnt touch was the main bathroom cuz it was redone recently.
Anyways it always has a not fresh smell (urine). Even after scrubbing it down...after some googling said that possible the toilet isnt sealed well which it wasnt, we had a plumber correct that this wk but the problem still hasn't gone away even after scrubbing down the bathroom today I still smell it. And its driving me crazy. Any solution or idea what this can be?
I do have those wall plugins but doesnt seem to help.
Its driving me nuts... please someone help.

Congratulations on your move!
I'm guessing no windows, or at least no vents?

-Toilet drop-ins in the tank.
-Lysol toilet bowl clip on thingy.
-Pine Sol in the toilet brush holder.
-Bleach the tiles around the toilet (I have boys! I have to do this 2x a wk)
-No Scrub shower spray after showers
-Keep the windows open for an hour or 2 a day, or turn the vent on. Or both.

Is there a drain in the floor in the bathroom (P-trap)? We have that and it would smell really badly till a friend instructed us to pour water down the drain to flush out the smell. Hasn’t smelled in years BH! Hatzlacha!

I found this:
“A rancid odor coming from your sink drain may just be coming from debris in the P-trap, but if it smells like a sewer, it probably means venting problems in your drain system. When the vents are blocked, flushing a toilet can create sufficient vacuum to suck water out of the trap and allow sewer gases into your home.“
Try looking into P-trap. Hatzlacha

You could try using vinegar and scrubbing down the entire bathroom including walls

The management company told us to do the same in our home but I didnt know the concept of the P trap! You are supposed to pour water down the drain on the floor
