is it true that if I'm not sending my son for nursery there next year then I won't get in for the following year kindergarten? I really wanted to send there this coming year but in end thought it's best for my son to be at a small playgroup still for nursery so I didn't apply.. now I'm regretting it

It can change from year to year, but in general, if you don't send to nursery there, you'll have a really really hard time getting in for kindergarten since all the spots will be taken. You can hope that a family moves or decides it's not for them, but the odds are not in your favor. This isn't just for the Cheder; I've seen it and heard about it at many other schools as well.
