Can u take pots and pans out of oven and put Straight on marble countertop? I’m about to move and have granite now and stick boiling stuff on it all the time. So I hope I can continue that!

Marble is much more delicate. I don’t know about heat but it absorbs and it stains

Marble has always been considered an excellent surface for candy making — you can pour boiling hot sugar syrup directly on it — so it should be able to tolerate heat well.

But it is very delicate in other ways. It scratches easily, etches, and stains.
