What bank has the highest yield? CDs, Checking or Savings?

CDs are usually highest, but you have to lock in your money. high yield savings accounts are the best if you want flexibility. dh just found offer from capital one- 1.5% plus a bonus depending on how much you put in. if you find something better, please post, as we are also looking

Online banks tend to have the best rates for savings accounts, but now they're all low bc the Fed keeps lowering interest rates.

.8 to .1 APY on a 12-24 mo CD at HSBC. Their checking account is paying better than my brokerage at Schwab.

CDs are traditionally the highest. When yields are high, it can really make a difference. Right now rates are so low that the spread between a good rate and a bad rate is really small because even the good rates are very bad.
