Do you allow your teen to "misbehave" during zoom class?
Do you make sure your teen is doing well in class in general?
Or do you let them be to do what they want?
Would you care if your teen is constantly interrupting teachers or friends' learning, or do you expect the teacher to handle it via zoom without you?
Do you mind if your teen is chatting during zoom class, disturbing friends from learning?
Is it overprotective to be involved or is it better to be hands off?

Hs they do what they want, they need self motivation. It is pointless to stand over them. Younger teen, maybe.

As a teacher:
I can mute him and stop him from interrupting my zoom, but I can't force him to learn. I can't stop him from texting his friend, or from walking away from his computer, or from minimizing the window and playing a game.
I can make it possible for everyone to learn, but if your child needs a push to stay focused or remove distractions, and you care if he learns, you're going to have to do that from home.
