Does anyone have experience with abc mouse? Is it worth the subscription, do the kids actually gain anything? Looking for something that will help my 4 year old keep learning while out of school.

Suffice to say my 6 year old son who gets zero secular education in cheder taught me what a right triangle was the other day.
It’s extremely stimulating, and if your kid speaks a basic English and loves to learn they can gain a lot. I’m very happy with it.

I keep reminding my kids to stay on the learning path instead of just listening to books being read or the music song videos (which are also educational) The learning path gives them a curriculum to follow.

My 4 year old loves it. And he’s been telling me all about the Statue of Liberty and the Golden Gate Bridge .

Is it something a bright four year old could do by themselves after some introductory instruction, or would I have to sit with her every time?

I haven’t had a four year old in a bit but I would think so. It’s pretty straightforward and kids are amazingly tech savvy these days.

We enjoyed it. But I switched to Kahn academy kids because it's free.

How does Kahn academy compare? Is it as good even though it's free?

My kids enjoy Kahn academy, it's definately simpler. They're learning and it's free so I'm happy!
My 3 year old for sure chooses Kahn academy over abc mouse.
My 4 year old switches between both.
