What was the experience like?

Who is open?

How do Sheitelmachers work on customers?

Is the SD working?

Sheitelmacher can do your sheitel off your head. I've done that.

I’m under 50 and wouldn’t do either of those at this point (If location matters I’m in Brooklyn)

I've done online shopping for clothes. I got my sheitel done in early March before everything shut down and I'm not really doing anywhere where I need my good sheitel.

I haven't done either of those and at this point would not be comfortable doing anything that requires that level of physical contact. Trying on clothing also makes me uncomfortable because who knows who tried it on before hand.

I did it right before the lockdown; sheital and clothes but wouldn't want to do it now.

Im a sheitelmacher and I had a customer in her 60s whom I did it for her off the head. She took home the head in a bag instead of the box because she didnt want people should think she went to a sheitelmacher. She wore gloves and a mask and didn't step into my house.

No and no. The only thing I've done is buy groceries and go to the grab-n-go food site. If all my clothes suddenly pulverized, I would either order online or sew something out of a sheet. How much am I out anyway? For the fifteen minutes to go to the grab and go and the forty-five minutes to buy groceries, I can wear the same skirt and hat over and over. And that's pretty much what I do, saving the good things for when the office reopens.

Neither do I. I also don't have anywhere to go that would require new clothes.

I’m 48 and was very sick with covid-19 a few weeks ago.
BH I’ve recovered completely but I have a fear of getting sick again and have not gone food shopping or anywhere else. I am doing lots of grocery orders and buying household items including shoes and some clothing online for the family.
I had my Shaitels done a little before Purim and since I’ve basically been home for 8? weeks I barely wore anything but a snood.
I ordered haircut scissors online and cut my daughters hair (trim) and we have a haircut machine for the male members.
Just like this virus suddenly came upon us it seems to be suddenly leaving... but how do I know it won’t suddenly come back?? For that reason I choose to remain home until the medical personnel will deem it safe. I cannot get sick again. I really don’t think I can survive a second time.
