How often do they need to be replaced?
My tweezer lost its grasp, it’s driving me

Depends on the quality. I had one for almost 10 years.

If you drop them it ruins them. Then they need to be sharpened.

I've had my Tweezerman tweezers for more than 20 years. I lost them a couple of years ago and was so upset but they turned up under a couch cushion a few months later
I'm sure they've gotten worn over the years, but they're still better than any other cheaper brand I've ever used.

Tweezerman will sharpen. Go to their website and get the instructions for mailing. It could be on hold for COVID. I did 2 pairs last year.

I also have a Tweezerman and I don't know how old it is - it could be more than 20 years old. I thought I had lost it about two years ago so I bought another one but the elderly Tweezerman turned up of course and it is as good as the newer one.
I don't know what people are doing with their tweezers so the edge needs to be sharpened? I use it for plucking hairs and the occasional splinter

A good one every few years. (I never got around to sending back to tweezerman so bought new ones)
A cheap one that works last a few months, in my experience.
