I told my husband to get chicken bones and he got a pack of 4 chicken legs instead. I guess the store ran out of chicken bones?
Anyway just wanted to know if it will come out the same...

My experience is that it comes out even tastier, although I tend to use bones. Put the chicken in a net bag and remove after a couple of hours. Then you can use the chicken legs for your meal as well.

Why not use chicken legs? I often do.
Bones might make it a bit more jelly like when refrigerated, but you should have all of the flavor.

It will be perfect. Use a soup bag. Then take off the skin and bones and shred the meat into your chicken and have a nice hearty soup

Got it! Thanks! It’s raw. Does that make a difference? I don’t make chicken legs at all and I would like to know if it has to be baked

Use 3 raw chicken legs for a 4 quart pot of chicken soup and cook soup as usual.

I only use chicken legs for soup. And then serve the chicken as the main.
