I was talking on the phone to a family member and they told me that NJ schools accept religious exemption to vaccinate
She doesn’t live in NJ
I googled it and it seems to be true.
Is this true, schools in NJ accept unvaccinated kids as long as they write a letter of exemption
This is just out of curiosity
Not open to discussion
Of course I’m talking about pre-covid
Who knows what will happen now

Every school I’ve ever applied to has a disclaimer at the bottom of the application that acceptance is contingent upon my child being up to date on his/her vaccinations. Were you taking about frum schools?

They're allowed to take religious exemptions unlike NY, but they're not required to- many of them will only accept kids up to date.
