Thanks for this info - like I said, I'm in NY. Lakewood is, however, in NJ.

Sorry, I missed that in your OP. I imagine there are stores in Brooklyn and monsey & 5 towns that stock up, you just have to ask. (If there is a YU or Brisk community in your area, find out where they shop- that will prob be your best option)

If you decide to do it, make the decision before August & then start getting the emails (or even start getting them now, ‘just in case’) so you can figure out what to stock up on.

Thank you!

I'm pretty sure it is because the yashan season for oats begins pretty early ... Like July .

Thanks - I know about the yashan book - not interested - just wanted to know if there are Jewish companies that make instant oatmeal... I'm surprised that it seems there aren't any...

Without the book it is extremely difficult.

I don’t know about instant oatmeal with flavors.
You can get Jewish quick oats that is marked yoshon - I’ve found at npgs - but the price is way more. I only buy when desperate because we eat lots of oats.

I've never had an issue buying oats till August and I live in the Midwest which starts earliest.
Yoshon.com has a search feature and is updated from the Guide as well as other information that comes in.

The WhatsApp group avrahamama mentions I assume is the site's offshoot.
