We have a rotation of eggs with either cheese or hot dogs, avocado, French toast, fish sticks, pizza, grilled cheese, and occasionally cheese pancakes.

Veggie burgers, rice and beans (black, refried, baked, a whole variety), no boil baked ziti, pizza bagels/paninis, tuna subs with the works, Poke bowls, pancakes n syrup, lentil soup, puff pastry tuna roll, mixed veggie or broccoli or spinach pie, cheesey noodles and broccoli, creamy gnocchi. Lots of eggs. Mostly Pareve or milchig
Sides are usually something like mashed potatoes, French fries, baby carrots, sliced peppers, roasted or steamed veggies, etc.

So fancy! Those ideas sound great but more like dinners to me. We just do sandwiches/ bread like pita or bagels and cold stuff-- hard boiled eggs, hummus with cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, cheese or pb and j, canned beans. Maybe leftover pasta or roasted veggies-- easy to make a pasta salad with that and some Italian dressing or pesto. When I have my act together I make a big pot of lentil soup at the beginning of the week for lunches.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been exposed and in quarantine. Is it your entire family, or just you? Do you have kitchen access?

How can she get the free lunch if she's in quarantine? In quarantine, you're not allowed to leave your home; your room if others in the family aren't quarantined.

Seems like there is no issue with a friend or neighbor picking up the free lunches and dropping it off at her door.
According to the many lunch pick up threads, this is ok.

We do sandwiches or grilled cheese
Many options of frozen foods that just have to be heated- like; pizza, pizza bagels, hot pretzels, knishes
Sometimes just toast and butter with hot cocoa or orange juice
When all else fails there’s always cereal and milk!
Yesterday ds couldn’t find anything he was in the mood of eating so he just ate some corn chips and chocolate milk. Later when he was starving before dinner he ate an apple.
I don’t make a big deal about lunch. It’s supposed be be an easy for me to prepare meal.
I focus more on supper.
BTW op, I’m curious where you live? Where I live I just heard that there have been no new cases in my neighborhood in over 3 weeks.
Unless you just travelled and have to quarantine for safety precautions...
