A pond with waterfall and bird beach and water lilies and fish (I have this )
Bird feeders. (I have this too )
A gazebo with screened mosquito netting walls.
Fragrant plantings.
Fruit trees and berry bushes. Blueberries and cherries are especially attractive.
An herb garden.
Especially for kids: a water slide, a trampoline, a paved area and paths for little vehicles, a net for tennis-type games, a basketball hoop, a playhouse.

Fire pit. A dirt hole that they just dig in and mudkitchen. A garden patch. A climbing wall and Zipline. A tree they can just hammer nails and boards into and experiment on. An outdoor sink to wash netillat in. A comfortable place to read.

Also a good sound system for music. I'm not a fan of hot tubs. But a really good slip and slide splash pad would be interesting.

Saw a swing set designed by these guys
https://www.treehouseexperts.com/photos
It’s is so gorgeous in the backyard and fun. Lots of swings, bridges, towers bridges. They also had zip line from a tower.
I LIke how they combine the playground and treehouse into one building.
A round large swing from top branch of a swing.
Lots of benches near baby swings.
Swing bench
Basketball court
Outdoor ping pong set

A full fence around.
Both shade and sun.
Comfortable chairs and a table.
An open area for kids to run. (maybe with it's own fence to keep the little ones inside it and out of trouble)
A full swingset for big kids and a small climbing structure for the little ones.
A patio for a sukkah/ toys that need hard ground/ chalk playing.
A grill and outdoor faucet

I love my backyard! We have a swingset with slides. Kids enjoy the swings the most.
We have a 14' trampoline.
Huge sunny grassy area for picnics, parties, playing catch.
Under the porch patio with fire pit with lounging chairs and small round tables with chairs to eat.
Bench swing
Hammock
Some trees to sit under on the perimeter of the property.
Outdoor faucet to attach a hose for delicious summer sprinklers (and to put out the fires in the fire pit)
We are looking to add a gazebo and plants around it to give it a secret garden feel and we're encouraging the kids to build their own treehouse.

Leave some of it forest like so camping feels like actually camping in a clearing in the forest.
Plant your vegetable garden closer to the house so it isn't annoying to water it every day.
Kids love a trampoline.
I like a pool but some adults prefer a hot tub. Definitely a splash pad. Fire pits are cool too, I saw some people suggested them.

I'd love to hear ideas of good exercise type aparatus for tween and teen boys.
We have tetherball and and a hoop.
I have a five year old girl, but I also need to make it older boy friendly.
Would love a more grown up looking monkey bar.
Zipline would be nice if I had the right type of trees.
Some cool looking swing type thing?
I have a playback.
Had an idea of putting in a ninja obstacle course but it was nixed by my fourteen year old. He thinks it's "embarassing".

Tell me more about the pond please- does it attract mosquitoes? How’s it with little kids around? I’d love to see photos!

We use Mosquito Dunks to kill mosquito larvae: https://www.summitchemical.com.....unks/
They work.
Ponds do attract kids. They love it and come over to see the fish. Because our little pond is in our front yard, for safety reasons we put hundreds of pounds of pebbles in it to effectively reduce the depth where we don't have containers of plants.
I took this picture earlier today:
