Pillow for toddler?

At what age do you give your toddler a pillow? Any special breathable ones?

When they are big enough to ask for one. With my kids has been between 18m and 2.

We bought a special toddler bedding set when dd wouldn't keep her sleeping bag on (somewhere around 2). It came with a small really flat pillow and blanket. It made her feel so grown up.
