Not a psychologist, but a recommendation based on personal experience to please see a pandas specialist.

My pediatrician took a full blood workup to also check for pandas amongst other things. I will get blood results at end of week. But regardless, said I should make appointment with psychologist.

I appreciate your input so much!! I'm looking online about PANDAS, and ultimately CBT and ERP therapy are still recommended for OCD caused by PANDAS. so I would still need a psychologist that specializes in OCD.
Interestingly enough, symptoms started not after a strep infection but after covid.

Not that therapy can’t be a valuable tool, but the inflammation needs to be addressed first. Interesting about covid, they are reporting neuro inflammation and encephalopathy should from covid which would be very similar to pandas or what is already known as pans. In this case you would probably want antivirals and ivig rather than antibiotics. I would urge you to get in touch with the drs that have been diagnosing post covid encephalitis in Manhattan hospitals. Or a dr who is familiar with post infectious encephalopathy.
