For a short family visit?
I know that no one can predict the future!
Airlines are actually booking for August...
what do you think the situation will be like in 2 months?
Just looking for opinions...

If you want to quarantine for 2 weeks first then it may be possible! It's hard to know now what Israel will do about tourists. Most people arent taking the risk. What's the point of going on holiday to Israel to stay indoors for 2 weeks?!
No one knows what will happen in 2 months time. Things can change daily at the moment. We're living in extremely unpredictable times

I suppose you will have to quarantine there...
As long as there is no vaccine, those safety measure are not going away any time soon...
If israel opens up, as they did, they will not want people to import the virus from abroad...
Except if they make a political decision to throw caution to the wind in order to have income from tourism.
But this does not really seem likely to me, would be inconsistent with the way the government reacted up to now...

Op I believe right now only citizens are allowed in. I may be wrong, but why not call the embassy and airlines closer to the time or look at the ministry of tourism web site for israel to see then.
Nobody here can tell you

My friend’s mother went to visit her children in New York before Purim and is trying to come home to Shaarei Chesed. I’d imagine that it’s even harder for on-Israelis.
