A spin off of the mean teacher thread. Let’s get some positive energy. What’s a nice thing a teacher did to you that you still remember years later?

She saw I had a lot of trouble taking notes, all I liked to do was draw. So she let me "draw" my notes. I had a notebook full of sketches from the Chumash. It was a unique way to help an ADD kid stay focused in class without shaming her.

In 4th grade my teacher realized I was copying answers to the math problems from the girl sitting near me
When she realized I was doing it because I didn’t understand how to solve it myself she invited me over to her house and tutored me and then we made peanut chews together ... I think of her every time I eat a peanut chew

my teacher said to me in from on other girls that I was a person who takes achrayus in situations. That I had that quality.
I remembered that my whole life.

Teachers taught me what I know now.
That was nice of them.
i.e.teachers do "something nice" all the time, as per their profession...
and they don't get many thanks for it.

My parents were getting divorced. I didn’t have so much friends and was the weirdo of the class, I was in a bad place and she just appreciated me, took care of me work wise and also personally showing me I mattered. She was very special.

I had a math teacher who let me write out my homework in English in addition to “math language,” which really helped me understand the material.
