This hasnt happened in my childhood my family was very strict with me and everything I did.. however my sister n law told me her parents trusted her way to much when she was little like let her travel by plane to visit a friend or stay out very late or have sleepovers without really looking into what she was really upto.. anyways fast forward and now her life is pretty much a mess.. shes a good person has a good heart but had they been more on top of her I dont think she would have ended up how she is today and she admits it to.. I feel really bad but also with my own childhood my family was so strict that at some point I felt like a beast that needs to break out of its cage so this tought me to have a balance with my own kids
