I don’t send there, but I know people who do. There are probably other posters who can give you more info. It seems to be a white shirt working crowd. They work very well with children who need extra support. Overall, I think the boys there are nice good boys. I’ve worked in many schools in Lakewood and I got a good impression of Orchos Chaim boys. I think it’s considered to have a wealthier crowd, but I also know a lot of people who are not wealthy who go there.

Awesome school. Impossible to get in. Great staff, very professional, great flexible attitude, nice crowd ( I was at a Chumash party) and nobody looked wealthy.

It’s the best school ever, I worked there. They really custom personalize each child’s curriculum specifically to his needs. Good luck getting in lol.

Are there similar schools that work well with each student that aren’t impossible to get into ?

Every school is difficult to get into...
Does your son need extra support academically/socially?

We moved and sent to Tashbar and are super Happy. I really feel like they work with each kid. After I moved and sent there people said the same about orchos Chaim. I think they are a bit comparable. The parent body is Tashbar is probably a bit less yeshivish but the rules are the same

I’m not so familiar with the heimish schools, but I’m sure other posters are.

I forgot the name, I think its r sender that used to be at orches chaim. They are very similar, may be a drop easier to get into although not sure if they have 11 year old.
I would say your best bet is Tashbar amazing school a drop cooler crowd. If you are coming from anywhere but Lakewood probably won't bother you. 😂😂😂

I’m an out of towner. Not east coast. My son isn’t in a heimish school now. He’s in the boy version of Bais Yaakov.
