since my baby started on solids at 5 mnths he loved everythign I gave him, he ate all the jars and cerial, now he is almost 1 and wont eat any of it, I tried giving him real food, like pasta, chicken, mena but he takes a few bites and wont eat anymore, I am at my wits end, what can I give him?
he loves yogurt but it gives him such nasty diapers I dont know what to do. the only thing he eats are those gerber finger foods, but they have almost no nutritional value

try blending his food like the jar food and see if he will eat it. It could be that he is so active and he has no interest in eating anything right now.

Actually , I've heard that babies at a year old slow waaaay down with eating. Sometimes it seems like they barely eat enough to survive, but don't worry. This is normal. I believe what I heard was if they kept on eating like the way they did until they turned one, they'd grow to be baby elephants, lol!
It's kind of like mother nature's way of slowing down the weight gain

try bread and you can smear something on it.
little pieces of veggies, such as peas, cooked carrots, corn, etc.
My 12 month old likes pasta when it's covered in sauce and cheese! you can try whole wheat to make it healthier.
