I got an irs check written to my and my husbands name

the problem is my US bank account is only in my name so they rejected it

how can I deposit this? to make it worse I already wrote on it for deposit in my amex account?

I really need to deposit this $ asap so if anyone has any ideas?
I don't have a joint account and I'm not in the US to open one now
