I think that anyone who has taken the antibody tests should retest a month or 2 later just to be sure!
who else got the family tested between a month or 2 ago and were all positive... now we got retested and some of us r negative.....
I asked a specialist and she said this is proof of one of the reasons why we dont know much still about these positive antibodies......

I asked for the test at my kupa, and I was told "Don't bother, those tests aren't accurate anyway. Just use precautions."

I've already had the virus, but now I'm hearing about more secondary cases, meaning that you CAN get it again. Sad (At least that's what it looks like right now.)

I think it depends if you got a yes/no answer vs a number of antibodies. I got a number, 3.8. I was told that anything above 15 is immune, so I am not immune. My grandparents, OTOH, have 75 and 93, so they are immune. I trust these results more than positive/negative results

Different tests must use different ranges. I know someone who was asked to donate plasma at 2.6, from the Mayo Clinic.

I guess that would mean a 26

I'm so confused. Just got my antibody results and it's negative. I'm pretty sure I had the virus. I developed an impaired sense of smell and I live in Brooklyn, the center of the COVID outbreak and in an area where people weren't so strict about social distancing. In addition, DH suffered from bad COVID symptoms for at least a week and we were intimate during that time. How is it possible that I'm negative? I'm convinced that the test results are inaccurate. Can my O+ blood type have anything to do with that? (Did anyone else hear of a connection between antibody results and blood type O?)

One more time for the people in the back:

The accuracy of the tests vary.
Immunity can fade and we don't know how soon.

Yes. I know quite a few people with O+ who had similar.
