I'm not opening the link but yes, they are stupid for holding Farrakhan up as a hero, if they weren't stupid before.
The problem is that the community will overlook a lot in their leaders if there is a kernel of good, or some sort of results. There's no chiddush that Farrakhan, Sharpton, et al are held up as spokesmen or models of some sort.
