I'm really loving that events- weddings, bar mitzvas, graduations, school plays are starting to have a small intimate live thing and extended Zoom. I love that my "long distance" family will be able to join my son for his Chumash Party. Something that previously was not an option for the Israeli aunt and uncle, Midwestern grandparents, and West Coast great grandparents.

One of my doctors said telemedicine is here to stay. this office actually has it since last summer (and we were the lucky 1st patients to try it Smile )
I guess we'll find out. I actually don't like telemedicine for the most part, but it sure beats flying cross country for a consult & saving $ on flying and consult Smile

I love telemedicine. in Israel we've had the option to contact doctors through the kupah app for a while and it's so great. I love that since Corona there is no pressure to come in unless it's really required.
I love being able to participate in smachot over zoom.
And I LOVE parent teacher conferences on Zoom!!!!! Please make that stay!

This. I'd like to see the live school events be Zoomed as well for those who can't come. Same for weddings, etc. I also like the idea of Zooming live classes for people who can't be in school but can focus on school. For example, if they have traveled for a simchah, or are immunocompromised during flu season, or hurt their leg and getting around is hard, or are post surgery and can focus for part of the day and want to participate.
