I work from home and like to work on the couch with my laptop on my lap. I've found that it's the most comfortable for me.
Problem is that my lap gets really hot especially in the summer and apparently it's not the safest thing.
Does anyone know where I can get a laptop cooling mat, something lightweight which I can place on my lap for protection and comfort?
I've looked online but I wasn't clear whether the products listed were actually what I wanted.
I live in Israel but I can order online if necessary. Thank you in advance.

My understanding of a laptop cooling pad is it is meant to stay under a laptop on a desk, not a lap. I had a laptop years ago that used to overheat because the fan on the bottom was blocked by the desk- stupid design, no? My father gave me one of these cooling pads way back and I never used it. New computer by then I guess? I think I still have it in a box somewhere. If you're interested, I can try to find it later to give you more info on what the box says.
About the safety of having it on your lap, my mom and some of her friends saw me do that as a ten and commented that it's not safe. I think it's an issue of radiation and/or something to do with the reproductive system. Maybe because of wifi, maybe separate, I'm not sure.
