The covid 19 epidemic is on the rise in 23 US States, specially Florida, Texas, California, Arizona.

Those states are particularly vulnerable, because most of the population is still susceptible to be infected.

Sounds like a hoax. This whole thing isn't really. It is just made up by politicians.

You mean the virus?

So what would be proof that could convice you it is not a hoax?

Variation in mortality numbers in New York between March-April-May 2020 and preceding years?

Go to a Covid Ward and see the patients?

Go to a cemetery and see the new graves?

Go to Brazil and see the coffins piling up there right now?

Wait till the coffins pile up in Florida and see them there?

Obviously Covid is going to be on the rise, if nothing is being done to contain it.

Can someone explain to me why there is no robust track and trace system in place in the US like there is in Israel, Germany, South Korea and other countires who have had much lower infection and death rates??

These countries might all be seeing new clusters and spikes after ending lockdown measures, but tracing and quarantining all contacts is keeping the spread and rates down.

Contrast that to what's going on in Brazil and the US, and you're left with one big disaster.

I don't believe there are politicians. POTUS is being held incommunicado in the basement of a pizza place, both houses of Congress have been replaced by lizard people, all the members of SCOTUS (the nine known ones as well as the additional secret five who controlled them) died of delayed effects of vaccination, and all the photos and videos of them you see are deepfakes.

I know a few New Yorkers who had coronavirus and traveled to some of these states. And the protests were ongoing there as well so its not surprising that Covid is on the rise. Its just surprising that its not on the rise in NY after all these protests though, I wonder how they kept that in check (maybe by not testing people just like Trump suggested?).

Maybe they all got it already or were asymptomatic.

From what I am reading, it doesn't appear to have been as a result of the protests. Bars, casinos, workplaces, prisons, large family gatherings, etc seem to be the main drivers of this wave of the virus.
I would have figured that the protests would have had a lot to do with it but either nobody has the guts to say that protesters caused it, or they really didn't cause it.

Are they really asking everyone who gets tested if they were at a protest? At a bar...?

The contact tracers are not supposed to ask about protests but people admit to going to bars and why not?

Numbers are on the rise but many of the people testing positive are not very sick. My husband’s hospital has only a handful of covid patients right now versus dozens a couple of months ago. So either the virus is weakening or testing is really more widespread than before. Someone with a very mild case can now get a test where I live (Midwest) but before tests were only for the truly sick

Perhaps they provide better protection for the vulnerable population now, so that they are less exposed....

Personally, I think they should ask.

But its worthless in terms of contact tracing, Because you can't locate and trace all of those people.
