if a child frequently wheezes after contracting a basic cold/cough, then perhaps u should ask your dorctor about a maintenance preventative med.
note, this does not meen the child is asthmatic, and many kids outgrow it.
personally, my 3 yo son has this tendency. the dr. prescribed zyrtec (pill) and pulmacort (for nebulizer) daily to keep his lungs healthy thru the winter. so far, if im really good about, its working great (bli iyin hara)
if my son does wheeze, only then do I give him xopanex (variation of albuterol) in the nebulizer.
