I love cooking, but I'm married for about a year and a half and preg 4 the 2nd time! ( it happened by mistake... I promise!) my dh has bread every morn and doesn't like washing again for lunch. so sandwiches are out, and he's not too fond of pasta. so we can't have that more than once a week. I've just about had it. dh comes home 4 lunch each day and there's basically nothing 2 eat. we're both frusterated and starving! need your ideas.

I'm going to say it again in another thread
I've gotten really into the crockpot this week - it's amazing.
Search for the crockpot thread. You can make it at breakfast time and put it on high for lunch or on low for dinner.,

Every night after supper I pack up the leftovers for DH's next day's lunch.
Everyone at work asks him what he did to convince his wife to make him such gourmet meals (even if it's just mac'n'cheese).
You can also make salads - for variety, put in s/t dif. every day. ex: cold cuts, feta cheese, chicken cutlets/beef from last nights supper cut in strips,
serve tuna/egg salad/avocado/cheese with crackers or in a pepper/tomato
(he may make a frown, but tell him to try it once before saying no.
DH was upset when I gave him ricotta cheese in a tomato. But he came home from work and told me I have full permission to make it again.)
frozen blintzes/waffles - popped in oven/microwave
scrambled eggs, pancakes,
ask him for ideas!

Thanx guys for all your ideas. we'll implement them soon enough and see how they go over. What did you do with the ricotta cheese that it was so good?

Took a tomato.
Cut off top.
Scooped out inside.
Opened container of ricotta cheese.
Used a sppon to transfer some into the tomato.
Put tomato into a container.
Container into briefcase.
"Goodbye, and hearty appetite!"
No seasonings. Nothing.
We were trying to get him onto the Southbeach diet. And that was one of the suggestions. So we tried it.
It worked.
