I hate myself. And had no sleep. How will I manage today

I hate myself. Why? Here's why.
Last night I got no sleep. My 4 month old woke up every 30-60 minutes. Then my 3 year old woke up at midnight with a stuffy nose and wanted to sleep in my bed. Fine. But he likes to wiggle, touch me, kick me, and I just can't sleep like that. So I went to sleep in the baby's room but he came in, crying for me, waking the baby up again... finally at 3 am we were all sleeping... but at 5 am guess who wakes up again and begins talking loudly (risking waking the baby up)??? My darling 3 yo. So I held his arm tightly (very tightly) and angry-whispered "be quiet! Be quiet until someone can go downstairs with you!"
I feel terrible and am upset at myself but how the **** am I supposed to manage on barely two hours of sleep (and a stiff neck)?????
(Dh was not available to help last night)

Not ideal but not abusive. Be gentle with yourself and move on.

Sleep deprivation can mess with your head like nothing else. Forgive yourself, and try to make a special effort to get a nap in or something, even if you have to pay a babysitter.

I hope you don't always say, I hate myself. It's just not healthy to think that way about yourself. Everybody has bad days ( or nights). Relax. You're fine!

Most people would do the same. Be kind to yourself. Try to nap while the baby naps and figure out creative ways to get sleep. Not easy but don’t worry about what happened.
