Can anyone tell me how to make mashed potatoes using Yukon gold potatoes? Creamy pls.

Boil the potatoes until they are super mushy keep some of the water you boiled them in, add some fried onions, and sour cream, and salt/spices. Tada

Or if you want it to be pareve and slightly less creamy you can add almond milk/pareve liquid creamer instead of the sour cream.

Mash potatoes with some water you boiled it in. Add sauteed onions salt and pepper.

I’ll be the voice of dissent here. I think the potatoes absorb the butter and cream better if you bake rather than boil them before mashing.

Another tip to make mashed potatoes rlly creamy is add mayo! About 2 Tablspoons. So good!

Are you making them dairy or parve? I boil them in stock and I like to boil some garlic cloves in there too. Then I mash with olive oil and reserved water. Depending on my mood I'll add mayo or a whole rae egg

I've found the secret to creamy potatoes isn't so much how you cook them or even what you add to them, as it is how you mash them.

Use a ricer. It's a game changer.
