I purchased an extended warranty for my fridg.
The door broke and the tech that came and several customer service people I talked to said that it will take 5-7 business days.
After a week I called them and they said it will take 6-8 weeks to come in.
Anyone have experience with this. I dont think that it is acceptable time frame but dont know what to do.
I cant live without a fridge for that long and then they will need another part (tech told me cant be ordered same time) so that will be over two months with no fridge.
Any suggestions?

Submit a complaint with the better business bureau. I had a very similar situation and the company called me back the next day to see how they could fix things.

I was thinking of doing that.
Thank you I think I will. I cant be without a working fridge for so long.
I asked them if they could even provide me with a temporary one but they said no.
I also want to know if the 6-8 weeks is a reasonable time to wait.
I have to say that PC Richard really went down in service quality. They are so unprofessional this time around.
