I’m thinking about a career switch but need to do it fast. I’m wondering how difficult is it to learn web development? I know it has many languages that I need to learn. Graphic design might’ve easier? But a lot competition? How is the job prospects? Can you work from home? Is it ok to learn on my own at home without being certified? If I do that, how do I then find my first job if most are looking for certified and experienced?
I’m pretty good with computers (at least that’s what my family tells me). But I only do video editing, which is not as difficult. I’m looking for a job in computers that I would be able to do from home. If we will make an Aliyah one day, I’m hoping that this would help me with jobs in israel.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Learning web development on your own, without getting any certificate, would not really enable you to find a job in Israel. Most places look for a degree in computer science, or at least a certificate proving graduation of some course, either in a college or online, some kind of recognized certification.

There are plenty of web developer bootcamps online. Just do a Google search. I did some research a while back, and you can get certified in something like 12-14 weeks.
