I believe they sent out a text with your pickup information to each person who pre-registered. Smaller families get a weekly box while bigger families get a weekend box and then another pickup on Monday. Please don't go if u didn't pre-register as it defeats the purpose of registration...
I spoke to the person in charge and he said it’s a weekend box today. But he did ask me how many kids. So maybe they’re splitting it up for the ppl will less kids? Don’t know.
MRL 7 day box for 2 kids (I'm very curious about what the bigger families got):
1 pkg (4 slices) mendelhsons pizza
1 box frozen haddar pretzels
1 pkg with 2 cheese blintzes
1 package tirat tzvi turkey
1# container about half full with cholent w a small piece of potato kugel sitting in the top part of container
2 string cheese
2 small yogurts
1 mango
1 bag baby carrots
1 (very) small challah
1 box mini brownie bars
1 bottle apple juice
and they gave us 1 milk
This seems like much less then we got last week (& less than I've come to expect for 7 days for 2 kids). I don't know what the 'requirements' are but how is 1 mango & 1 bag of baby carrots enough fruits & veggies for 2 kids for 7 lunches?
Does anyone know what Chai4life gave? Maybe I would switch to them for next week.

Chai4ever is distributing a weekly food box today at 6:30pm. at 1221 Madison Avenue Lakewood. Box includes, Chicken Nuggets, Hot dogs, Pizza, Cereal and much more. Please take Carey Street. coming from Clifton Ave and turn right onto Madison Ave and Turn Right into the Chai4ever parking lot. Meals will be available throughout the summer to reserve email: food@chai4ever.org with name address phone number and amount of meals requested

Can Baby Corn
Package of pastrami
Package of turkey roll
8oz chopped liver
16oz cholent
chocolate babka
10oz chummus
8oz garlic dip
Challah (small)
Small pie Pizza on the 9
Package of Tirosh chocolate covered tea biscuits
Box Onion Tam Tams
I don't remember if there was anything else but my kids are thrilled (so I am too )!

Yes, this is what we got too. It was a beautiful, well thought out box. I believe it is only a weekend box as they said there will be another pickup on Monday.

what side of town is the pickup located? did it take a while? and can I still sign up for monday? is it only for kids not in camp?
Yup I got same mrl. My pickup time was 5:00 and I came around 4:40 they were already giving out and the line was just a few cars. I wonder how the line was after 5? They’re located on oak street and went very smoothly.
Only for kids not in camp, and I think if you sign up now you’ll start Thursday.
