I would worry about the food at this point being spoiled, I no longer care that I didn't get it, I would not want it now. I take it back, I want the babka Smile

we waited all day yesterday and it finally came this evening around 7pm.
We got THREE boxes for 1 kid! must be a mistake. we gave 2 of them to 2 other families that didnt get...
such a nice box but annoying that it didnt come when they said it would and after I did a HUGE grocery shopping.

As of 11:30 tonight we have not gotten it. I dont think it will be coming. Oh well

I'm doing this on a large scale too and it's a huge huge amount of work, the large staff are all volunteers! In our case, there is no money to spare and we only have volunteers.

It takes so many hours! So many regulations and details to deal with.

They obviously took on more than they can handle if they are zig zagging delivery all over the place, the. Defrosted items are an issue, we are so careful about temp control.

Say thank you and volunteer your time instead of complaining! They're obviously short handed.

I sent them a thank you email for the food delivery, and got an automated reply stating they are making more deliveries today, and they are aware of the issues people are complaining about.

I saw my box by my door right now after Shabbat (we weren’t home)...such a chaval that I have to throw the perishables out. I’m assuming it was delivered to me sometime before Shabbat. I totally wasn’t expecting a box because I never got a confirmation email. The babka looks yum though 🤤

How did they do it? Sounds like they gave out a ton of boxes.
Anyone knows if they will continue through the summer?
Sounds like a lot of people signed up.
Wondering if they expected such a large turnout and if they will be able to handle the huge demend.

Their flyer did say it's for the whole summer. Guess, we'll see.

Mine came a day later than I expected and I was about to head into bed at 11:45 at night and heard my doorbell ring!! It was a guy saying he has food delivery for me - I had him leave by the door because I was too nervous to get it but assumed it was the TOrah Temima box ... and it sure was! Just was confused because the timing was very wierd!

They emailed me on Wednesday that I was on the list and would be getting a delivery. Never happened.
