We are in the process of scheduling a surgery for our dd - we are flying in from Israel
Does anyone have the contact for Bikur Cholim?
Are there Bikur Cholim apartments/ does anyone know cheap places to rent/hotels in the vicinity (would prefer rental because of corona)?

Does anyone how it works with Kohanim in the center? Is it problematic( same building as the morgue)? Is there a Rav who is familiar who dh can speak to?

What about food - are kosher takeout places open in dallas?

Kosher takeout places are open, and can be found at kosherdallas.org.

I don't know of any bikur cholim apartments. There is a Holiday Inn Express of North Dallas that is near the Jewish community and not too expensive. You may want to contact the shuls in Dallas regarding any lodging information and speak to the rabbonim there about your other question. The
main shuls are Chabad of Dallas, Ohev Shalom, Ohr Hatorah and Shaare Tefilla; you can check their Web sites for telephone numbers.
