I want a stroller that folds compact for my small car but isn't as flimsy as some of the travel strollers look. I like the look of the city tour and the bugaboo bee-does anyone have these and what do they dislike about them? I read reviews and I know the pros of the strollers but now I want to hear from people who are using the strollers on a day to day basis and how good they really are.
How practical are they for lots of in and out of cars etc? Are they quick and easy to unfold, when dealing with screaming kids etc? My current stroller is that bit too bulky and is most definitely 2 handed fold/unfold and takes too long.
I'm open to other suitable suggestions.
TIA

I went to a frum store in Lakewood that sells baby strollers. I was looking for an easy weight stroller and the one I found was so lightweight and easy to close was the Uppababy Minu which is a bit cheaper than the others. I haven’t bought it yet. Has anyone used it? Would you recommend it? Thank you.

I only have the city tour. Its great because it's very light and folds very compactly. Its definitely not as strong or smooth or comfortable as the bugaboo bee. It also costs a fraction of the bee

My friend says the wheels lock when trying to go up the stairs. That's her one gripe with it.

It has small wheels and is not designed to bounce up stairs. Its light enough and folds with one hand so I hold my baby in one hand and fold and carry it in the other. I dont usually have steps I need to go up etc.

I posted a few options. Height makes a difference in how comfortable the stroller is to push. There are big price differences. The Mountain Buggy is great and so is the yo-yo.

I have the uppa baby minu and love it!! It fits by my kids feet in the car (behind driver or passenger seat) and folds very easily and quickly. Takes 2 seconds. It's sturdy and has a strap you can use to carry it on your shoulder. It's also pretty lightweight compared to others! Also the basket size is pretty generous for a smaller stroller! Another great option I've seen but didn't get is the city tour lux. It has a seat that flips forward or back and can fold with the seat in either position! I ultimately chose the Minu because it is easier to push and the hood is a bit higher so it can accommodate an older child much easier but the tour is cheaper and offers reversible seat and is a great option too!

I have the mountain buggy Nano as my car stroller. Very highly recommended. I've been using it for several years now and it's taken quite a beating: air travel, stairs, everything. It's held up beautifully.
