For those of you with a custom icon, do you have a story/reason behind why you chose it?
Ill start: I sew.
Your turn.

When browsing on a phone, a lot of these icons are too small to actually make out any detail. Last week was one of the rare occasions when I look at this site on a computer, and happening to notice a much larger version of someone's icon, finally realized what the picture was. The minimization of size and pixels often makes the original intent hard to understand.

I like the Cheshire cat from cartoon Alice in wonderland. I actually, froze the frame myself from the part where he's disappearing and saying "You may have noticed that I'm not all there myself" bc I feel that is a sentiment that can apply to me

I wish I had an impressive story behind my sandwich-eating roach, but when I first came to imamother, I tried a bunch of different gifs and none of them were small enough... For some reason Roachie fit and we've been great friends since.

My screen name means “don’t worry about anything,” so just to be weird I chose a face that looks kind of worried.

I liked how it looked on the screen. It’s a regular imamother stock picture. I’m open for ideas, I would like something more expresive. Especially since my screen name doesn’t have an obvious meaning. (It’s what dd used to call her new brother when she was 2. She’s now 10)

That’s really funny! What’s is real name? I can’t think of a name that sounds remotely like it...
Mine is obvious I think. I like to think highly of myself lol.

For the life of me, I could never figure out what your screen name meant. I'm so glad I started this thread.

Lilo & Stitch is one of my favorite movies, and I relate to so many of the characters, especially Nani is who trying her absolute hardest to raise a very unique child.
(And Lilo who is a weird kid and full of strong feelings - love, rage, fear. And Stitch who was programmed to sow destruction yet becomes a force for good when adopted by an unconditionally loving little girl.... this movie means a lot to me, okay?)
“Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.”
“This is my family. I found it all on my own. It is little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.”
