Has anyone got a good bread recipe for in a bread machine.
One that doesn't taste like a cake.
A proper bread taste!
And can one also make a cake in it

2/3 c water
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c oil
1/3 c sugar
5 c flour
2 tsp yeast

Put the ingridients in the pan in that order. Make a well in the flour and add the yeast. Set to the dough cycle, then braid when done. Let rise about 1/2 hour, then bake.

I don’t save the recipes (I should)I typically Look up online crusty bread andvthey are simple ingredients and I make those.

This whole wheat recipe was once in a binah magazine. Maybe too sweet for you?

1 1/2 c warm water
2 T oil
1 T honey
2 T brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups flour
2 1/4 tsp dry yeast
