I don’t know why you would do this. There’s certainly no halachic significance. And what if she drank the water 15 hours into the fast? Would you suggest she fast an extra 15 hours?

I’m not a posek nor am I claiming to be one. She feels very guilty for accidentally drinking 10 minutes into the fast so I suggested she do that just for her own personal feeling better. It would make me feel better to do that. If you need guidance halachically aylor.
