FY me too. I have a wooden high chair and a booster. I like both. I have a small dining room and can't have those large plastic ones.

Someone told me to get a Prince Castle, because it lasts forever, is easy to clean and doesn't take too much space. It's expensive, though, $129 now and going up to $159 in a couple of months.

The IKEA here has a highchair for the equivalent of $20, which is also pretty small, which we were going to get as a stopgap measure till we can get the Prince Castle. Naturally, they're out of stock, so we're using the infant seat or holding the baby on our laps for now.

(by the way, 6 of the Walton (Walmart and Sams Club) family members are also in the top 20. if you put them all together they are the richest people in the world.)

My MIL still has her prince castle hi-chair!!! It's OLD!! It's now used for the ainiklech. I personally do not like my prince castle. I probably will buy a different one(maybe just use a good booster seat) when I have another baby.

I just bought the Peg Perego Prima Pappa two weeks ago and I LOVE IT!
Why I bought it?

Even when you take the tray out there's a crotch bar so baby won't fall out
High chair folds WTIH THE TRAY so no need to find another place to store a tray!
2xtray - milchig/fleishig
the underside of the table has no cracks where food can get caught - its' just one smooth surface so easy to wipe down
easy to use recline, wheels, brakes, fold up, high/lo chairs
pretty!

only thing is...expensive...but itll last me I hope!
