Meal ideas for before the fast..

I always get stuck on ideas for before tisha bav- I did a search here, but maybe I am not putting in the right words because I am not coming up with anything.
What are you planning on making for before the fast?

I think I'll make vegetarian chili and maybe some pasta.

When I was healthier and able to fast, I found that a nice big bowl of oatmeal was the best thing. It really does stay with you and keeps you from getting hungry for a very long time.

Drink Gatorade or other sports drinks a day or two before the fast, to keep your electrolytes up.

Just in case I look back at this thread next year (BE"H next year we will be celebrating in yerushalyim). I could not decide on what to make, so what I was having a craving for was made..
plain pasta(season at your own risk)
Spinach salad(dress at your own risk)
fritata
brocolli cauliflower soup
chocolate chip banana waffles.

It’s funny because when eat oatmeal for breakfast I’m always starving an hour later.
