Why do you need kosher phone for Dd if I can just block the internet and data on her phone by Verizon?

Which phone and service is cheaper?
Is your kid a tech whiz who can get past any filter or pay for internet on the sly?
Do you think your kid would even try, or are they not that type?
Very important - what does the school say?

Because your kid could potentially call up Verizon pretending to be you and remove the restrictions that way.
Why don’t you buy the phone you want and have tag filter it?

They can reset their phone and get it unblocked. There are other ways as well. In my experience, the only foolproof way to block stuff on a phone using the phone settings is to get an iPhone and you set the screen time settings for them and lock it with a password. It’s unbreakable. TAG can also permanently remove certain capabilities from a phone.

I had tag but her phone broke. Now it’s a hassle to get it tagged because of coronavirus

In some communities TAG won't work on regular phones for high school kids.
