Any ideas? What to send a young couple who are in quarantine due to the virus. All their summer plans are out the window and they're stuck at home in a tiny apt.
Thanks

Oy! This is hard 😢
Do they have kids?
Someone makes DIY paint kits that can be sent (its a paint night)
Puzzles
A new board game?

They have a baby.
I want to send them something that will make them feel cared for. Not necessarily something to keep them busy.
Thanks.

Confused. Do they have the virus? Or do they have to quarantine because of recent travel? If they have it I’d definitely recommend sending comforting, gentle food and drink

I'd send delivery food -- something hot from a local place. If you say the city and what hechser someone might be able to recommend a restaurant.

Or they were in contact with someone?
Its very common to be in bidud for some reason in Israel.
We were just in bidud and someone sent us a candy platter. Made us feel very happy.
Takeout is a nice idea or maybe something for shabbos?

Yes, agreed, either takeout dinner, or shabbos meal, or a fancy platter of sweets or chocolates. You'll find something here: https://newcomersguide.co.il/

Takeout, for sure.
I have a lot of friends in bidud and preparing meals has been difficult.
If you tell us the city we can make suggestions.

Drop off a game of bananagrams or boggle, or adult coloring books.
Call often
Make sure they know about www.gobidud.com

My biggest treat was always getting a hot supper delivered!
A breakfast is also greatly appreciated!

My mother in law sent us cheese miniatures from a local chef. Really made us feel thought of.

Definitely food.
But send something that they can keep as a reminder of this very unprecedented time.
