My sons First time In camp - and I have an opportunity to send him some stuff for Shabbos. Please advise as to what items would be useful ... all ideas welcome!!

As much as possible, home made:
Challah, dips, cake. Pepsi cans and cold cuts.
This is what my son would have enjoyed and says boys enjoyed. Ds is not interested in nosh so much.

Exactly. My son not into sweets. Prob is I’m shipping the items. Maybe jerkey would be more ideal. Homemade sounds awesome prob is I need to send it very soon to get it for tomm. I wish I would have. Thought of it earlier. I was supposed to be on vacation but we ended up staying home last min.

Maybe OP should be more specific about what the camp allows and what she can actually do. Many camps require you to order packages from specific companies and do not allow homemade food to be brought in.

At this age my son didnt want nosh, only papitas, coke, challa rolls, kokosh & reading material like a weekly/monthly Jewish magazine.

You can also send slush pops/freeze pops if he has access to freezer.
Individual pkg of pastries are also nice like brownie bars.
Yes now I remember that he used to ask for cold Cuts too.
Noodles soup & cereal is good if camp allows. Not all do.
