All of the data shows masks are useless at stopping transmission of virus.
Don't make your kids the korban!!!
Edit bc I know someone will ask. No I won't provide links. Do some reading yourself. Also everyone should be watching @mlwdesignny who has the patience (unlike me) to provide the latest articles and science |
I've read the data on transmissions and on masks, you are incorrect.

Do you know if this is considered acceptable instead of mask?

That's not a mask, it's a face shield. It provides little protection, if any, without a mask

Kids are not at high risk but they are carriers that can spread it to others.

This is patently untrue.
What you are saying is that there has never been a single acceptable scientific study that shows that masks provide any decrease in transmission of any kind of virus.

I don’t make my sensory 3 year old wear one.
Yesterday I took him for a therapy session. The guard asked will he wear one? And he gave him a cute disposable mask with ducks on it. My son held it and after a while asked to put it on. It was definitely a first for him!

Would your child wear a costume mask? My coworker's kid needed minor stitches and the doctors office gave them this awesome face mask with holes for the eyes (they could choose from super heroes, animals, etc).

Try to find a mask that ties behind the head, instead of slipping over the ears. It's harder to take off that way, and it won't irritate his ears.
