How much do I tip a one on one shadow who worked with my child from July till now? First kid, I have no idea how this works.

Are you paying the shadow or is an agency?
How old is the shadow? Adult or teen?

I wouldn't tip at all if I have been paying them all summer...Getting a shadow is not cheap.

Agency is paying, enhanced rate. My child is BH easy, the shadow is there for a health reason not a behavior or development delay reason. She's post high school, I think, but I don't know her age. Maybe 18-21? I really have no idea.

My DD 17 works as a shadow. She doesn't get paid well. Even if your kid is easy, tip her well, as you would tip a camp counselor of that age. Remember, she is not being tipped by a whole bunk. If you can do $10 per week, and add a nice note, the shadow will think the world of you and it will do great things for the young woman's self esteem and interest and dedication to her possible career.
Obviously, if you can't afford $10, and can do $50 for the summer or even $5/week, it is super awesome.
Especially as you didn't have the expense of the shadow.
(My friend has to pay the shadow's salary on top of tuition)
