Not chassidish...
So far from what I’ve seen, places in fleischmans are pretty run down... but the weather is usually nice.
Looking for recommendations for a decent place in the area.

I rented a nice place a few years ago outside of the official Fleischmanns (so not walking distance Shabbos). Most things walking distance are pretty run down unless you know someone specifically who has a bungalow that they've updated.

If you know that specific town, you already know the answer. 
Oppenheimers has a great atmosphere, but it's pretty run down like not updated since the 1960s.

Have you looked at Airbnbs? Oppenheimers and the motel are disasters, and private house rentals usually are too, but we've had some very nice Airbnbs. The Catskill Ski House was the best, but I'm not sure they're still renting it. There are apartments over the stove/firewood store on Main St that we were going to get this year (but then COVID) that looked nice.

How does it compare to Oppenheimers?
